Programs for Children and Parents:
Advent Lutheran School provides a Christ-centered environment for infants through eighth grade.
Adventureland is our children's program offered during our 8:30 & 10:00 worship services for those aged 3 - fourth grade.
First Communion preparation takes place with on-going activities in the fifth-grade curriculum followed by a mini-retreat for students and parents in the spring. First communion is celebrated on Maundy Thursday.
Breakfast Club is our youth ministry for fifth and sixth graders. This group meets on the second and fourth Sunday of every month during the 10:00 a.m. worship service to share in the word and to enjoy the breakfast they help plan and cook. This group attends communion worship on the first and third Sunday of every month.
The Edge Youth Ministry for 7th-8th Graders
Our two-year Confirmation program, called "The Edge," meets on Sunday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. during the school year. UtiliIng the Ausburg Lutheran Confirmation Curriculum Here We Stand, Edge is on the cutting edge of culture and faith, spiritual childhood and spiritual adulthood, baptized Christian and disciple of Christ. The Journey Senior High Youth Ministry
The Journey is for teens in grades 9-12. The group meets on Sunday evenings room 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. during the school year and focuses on a mixture of fellowship, bible study, community involvement and worship. A strong emphasis is placed on developing youth leadership, addressing faith challenges, and building relationships. The journey offers opportunities to join its youth-led praise band, lead bible studies, organize service projects and social events, and receive mentoring from other young adults.
Fellowship - Social events at Advent provide opportunities for our members, friends, family and community to celebrate life together in a Christian environment.
Spiritual Growth - Advent provides many opportunities to explore our faith, experience our faith, and practice our faith.
Advent Leadership Academy - Advent is committed to helping people realize their God-given potential as servant leaders. We offer leadership development programs in a uniquely Christian environment, knowing that God is the ultimate Source of ability, passion and vision. Life Enrichment Activities - Children's programs include karate, yoga, baton, and creative movement. For adults we offer yoga, men's basketball and coed volleyball.
